The City of Dubuque currently offers two convenient methods for electronic payment of your utility bill or parking fines payment; Electronic Check and Credit Card.

• Electronic Check provides quick and easy electronic transfer of funds from your checking account. Electronic Checks are limited to traditional checking accounts. We are not able to accept Electronic Checks drawn on Savings Accounts, Money Market Accounts, IRAs or credit card checks. Debit cards with the MasterCard or Visa logo are processed as credit cards. Your bank statement will show a charge from: City of Dubuque. Electronic Check payments returned indicating non sufficient funds in the account may result in $15 NSF fee.
• Credit Cards are another payment option we offer. The City accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards. A 4% convenience fee is charged per transaction. Debit cards with the MasterCard or Visa Card logo are processed as credit cards. Your credit card statement will show a charge from: City of Dubuque.
