Airport Services The Laredo International Airport is a full-service regional airport with commuter and scheduled mainline air service, including both domestic and international carriers. The Airport is located in the State of Texas and serve the City of Laredo, Webb County, and northern Mexico. Laredo is on the border of the United States and Mexico, and its unique geographical location gives it the distinction of being included in transportation plans for the State of Texas, the United States and Mexico. Animal Control Select this request to report an animal control issue within the city limits. Animal Control Officers are on duty from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Mon to Friday. Saturday 8:00am to 5:00 pm. (excluding Sundays and holidays). Call 3-1-1 to report all issues.
Backflow Prevention & Cross Connection This request is used to report Backflow Prevention and Cross Connection within the city limits. All business and residences within the City of Laredo which have an irrigation system are required to have a backflow device at the water service meter. Also, all businesses which are considered high hazard facilities (hospital, funeral home, medical clinic, Laboratory, veterinary clinic, car wash, etc) are required to have a backflow device at the water service meter. To report business that needs a backflow device, please fill in the blanks. Once the information is received, the service request will be submitted to the City of Laredo - Utilities Department.

Building Inspection The mission of the City of Laredo Building department is to work in conjunction with the building community to ensure all construction is done according to adopted building codes for the safety of all citizens. Building Permits ensure that all proposed construction meets zoning as well as adopted building codes. When construction has begun, it is your responsibility to schedule needed inspections as indicated by the Building Department. Permits and inspections help ensure safe construction with sound materials. Applications must be submitted and permits issued prior to beginning work. Bus abandoned or in distress El Aguila Rural Transit normal business hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday to Friday. Saturday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Backed Up Sewer Line The City of Laredo Utilities Department maintains all sewer lines located within the city limits. Select this request to report a clogged or backed up sewer line, and a lift station alarm. Once your request is received the service request will be promptly submitted to the Utilities Department, and a Utility Crew will check the sewer main line and verify that the city's line is not causing the problem.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT - Pets and Service Animals Select this request if you have questions regarding the care of pets in case of an evacuation or sheltering operation in effect. The Office of Emergency Management has an Animal issues Committee in conjunction of the City of Laredo to accommodate for the sheltering of pets and service animals. In times of need, the shelters Manager has predesignated shelters where pets will be assigned. For information call (956)523-4057 or (956)236-3523.
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT - Sheltering and Mass Care The shelter Manager in conjunction with the County chapter of the Red Cross have pre-dermined shelters that will be opened in sequence once it is established that the need for shelters exists. The opening of the shelters will be coordinated in an orderly manner and will be staffed with trained personnel. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT - Transportation Persons that anticipate to have transportation problems if an emergency is declared in the County are encouraged to pre-register at the 2-1-1 network with their information and be part of the State database. In times of disaster, the Search and rescue teams will have access to this database and will be making contact with those that registered. Pleas dial the 2-1-1 help line and register today if you aspect to have transportation problems in case of an evacuation. Illegal Dumping The City of Laredo Code of Ordinances states that it shall be unlawful for any person to deposit garbage, trash, rubbish, stagnant water, hazards materials, septic tank discharge or dead animals upon or along any drain, gutter, manhole, alley, sidewalk, street or vacant lot or upon any public or private premises located within the corporate limits of the City of Laredo.

If larva are found the source will be treated with larvacide. Routing spraying is March-June
