The program provides this information along with any flood zones in your area, hurricane preparedness tips and other safety information; information will be mailed out to you. To sign up for the Ready Okaloosa program you can either call us or register on line at http://www.co.okaloosa.fl.us/dept_ps.html and click on Ready Okaloosa and just fill out the information. While signing up for Ready Okaloosa you may want to consider signing up for our Code Red weather warning. All you need to do is check the box and provide a phone number for the weather warning to call. This will only call your house if there is a severe weather watch box posted for your property by NOAA.
